Ethanol – Solvent alcohol
Solvent Ethanol is a colorless, volatile liquid with a characteristic odor. Hydrogen bonds make pure ethanol hygroscopic, drawing water vapor from the air. When burned with a blue flame, no smoke forms CO2 and water. Ethanol is an ingredient in common spirits and alcoholic beverages.
